Why we built this

Every feature started as something that drove us nuts.

We're owner-operators ourselves. We tried the spreadsheets, the five-figure MRO suites, and the EFB add-ons. None of them did the job we actually needed. So we built the one we wished existed.

Spreadsheets miss the things that matter

Annuals, AD revisions, ELT batteries, parachute repacks — none of it should depend on whether you remembered to turn a cell red. We wanted an app that did the watching for us.

Nothing tracked the plane and the truck

The hangar had a maintenance app. The fuel truck, the courtesy car, the boat at the lake, and the tractor in the back forty got sticky notes. So we built the one place that holds them all.

Pro-grade tooling cost more than the airplane

The serious MRO suites are built for corporate fleets paying five figures a year. Owner-operators got left with spreadsheets and Slack reminders. We thought there was room for something honest in the middle.

Running out of a part is its own grounding

We were tired of cancelling weekends because nobody noticed the brake disc bin was empty. Parts inventory with auto-reorder should have been table stakes a decade ago — so we made it.

What's inside

Pro-grade compliance depth, without the enterprise overhead.

Purpose-built for general aviation. The depth that gets you through an audit, in a UI that doesn't need a week of onboarding.

Managed AD library, live from the FAA

We sync the FAA Airworthiness Directives database directly — new ADs and revisions land in your aircraft's list automatically. Search by tail, model, or component and tie each AD to a record so you never re-explain at annual.

Component life tracking

Track batteries, tires, magnetos, vacuum pumps, and alternator belts by calendar, flight hours, or a fixed replace date — whichever comes first, you get alerted before it's due.

ELT, VOR & pitot-static

Calendar-driven inspections with 90/60/30-day warnings and battery shelf-life tracking. FAR 91.207 done without sticky notes.

CAPS & parachute repacks

10-year airframe parachute intervals, rocket motor service life, seat parachute 180-day repacks, AAD battery service — all on one timeline.

Squawks log

Grounding, high, medium, low — with MEL-deferred status, mechanic sign-off, and FAR 43.9 entries. Photo and voice memo on the ramp.

Master logbook

Per-aircraft and fleet-wide logbook with PIC, dual, night, instrument, multi-engine, seaplane, tailwheel, turbine, and rotorcraft totals.

Expenses & P&L

Track fuel, hangar, insurance, training, and loan payments. Auto-allocate to partners by flight hours, and pull annual P&L statements.

Partnerships & leasebacks

Co-owners, instructors, students, and external renters. Set hourly wet or dry rates and let the system reconcile every flight.

Parts inventory

Stock levels with min thresholds, vehicle assignment, usage history, and low-stock alerts that name the supplier you used last time.

Compliance & reminders

If it has a date or an interval, we're watching it.

Every line item the FAA cares about, plus the operational ones ground vehicle apps don't even know exist. Set your lead time once and let the system page you only when it matters.

Your hangar isn't just the Cessna.

Pilots own stuff. Trucks, boats, dirt bikes, an old Land Cruiser that needs the timing belt eventually. High Maintenance tracks all of it — same reminders, same dashboard, no extra charge.

Marginal infra cost is zero. We'd rather you have one place for everything than nickel-and-dime you to add the truck.

vs Coflyt

Everything Coflyt does. Plus the nine things they don't.

Coflyt is a solid aircraft tracker. But most owners don't just own aircraft — there's a fuel truck, a tug, a courtesy car, a hangar door opener. High Maintenance tracks the whole operation, on one plan, at one price.

Frequently asked

The questions every pilot eventually asks.

Still curious? Email us, we read everything.

Is this a replacement for ForeFlight?
No — and it's not trying to be. ForeFlight is your EFB and flight planner. High Maintenance is your maintenance, compliance, and logbook system. They sit side-by-side. Many pilots run both.
Will it actually keep me legal?
It tracks the things FARs require — annuals, 100-hour, ELT (91.207), pitot-static, VOR, ADs, component intervals — and warns you before each one is due. The Flight Ops tier produces audit-ready reports for Part 141 and Part 135 inspections.
Can I track my truck and boat in the same place?
Yes — and it's free at every tier. We don't think you should pay for a second app just to remember when your truck needs an oil change.
What about flying clubs and partnerships?
Add partners, set hourly rates (wet or dry), and the system allocates fuel, hangar, insurance, and loan payments by flight hours. Each partner sees their own running balance.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 90-day free trial covers 1 aircraft and asks for no card. When you're ready to add more aircraft or ground vehicles, you can subscribe in app — every plan is $15/month.

Skip the spreadsheet. Get the AD list and the squawks and the logbook and the cars all in one place.
